We're back with more exciting updates about The Hope Summit 2026!
Last week, we shared the exciting Saturday ocean-filled line-up for The Hope Summit 2026 Film Festival and some of the incredible films we will screen at the Conference. We believe in the power of films and storytellers to inspire change, create connection between and within communities, and create pathways to hope.
Today, we are thrilled to welcome the Sustainable Ocean Alliance as Virtual Conference Sponsor of The Hope Summit 2026.
We understand that to heal our planet, we must heal our ocean, and to heal our ocean, we need a global network of ocean and upstream leaders working to create real solutions for their communities and neighboring ecosystems.
Before we became Carolina Ocean Alliance, our founders began their work as SOA Charleston, the first SOA Community Hub in the world. The Sustainable Ocean Alliance is a global network of young ocean leaders, ecopreneurs, mentors, and changemakers dedicated to healing our oceans and investing in the future of ocean communities. Their network-of-networks approach inspired our love for community ecology and shaped the three kinds of hope we aspire to inspire at The Hope Summit. We are delighted to finally welcome our global SOA family to The Hope Summit in a shared expression of the love that guides each of us to serve our communities, protect special places, be the change we need to see in the world, and dare to dream of a brighter future for all life on our planet.
Through this partnership, up to 500 SOA members will join The Hope Summit's hybrid conference on SwapCard, where they will meet peers, mentors, teachers, and future collaborators. The Virtual Conference will host livestreams and on-demand recordings of all mainstage speakers and panels, along with a special virtual-only webinar series in the afternoons curated by SOA and SOA Hub leaders.

The Hope Summit 2026 Community Festival | October 3rd
The Hope Summit Community Festival returns for its fifth year, featuring our community solutions village of dozens of local nonprofits and organizations serving local communities, a sustainable ecopreneurs market, The Hope Summit Repair Fair, and more exciting opportunities to shape the future of our community.
This is a free, family-friendly event open to the public.
THS 2026 Experiences | October 3rd | Discover the Nemours Ecopasture Initiative
Presented by the Nemours Wildlife Foundation
The Nemours Wildlife Foundation invites The Hope Summit to join a Nemours staff member for a guided tour of the Nemours Ecopasture Initiative discussed in the "Rewilding Landscapes & Seascapes" panel at The Hope Summit 2026 Conference. You might even encounter some Pineywoods cattle, the remarkable ecosystem engineers bringing megafaunal grazing back to the longleaf forest.
While this event is offered free of charge, donations are essential to advancing the mission of the Nemours Foundation: fostering conservation and human well-being in the ACE Basin through research, leadership, and education. Gifts of any size are greatly appreciated and can also be left anonymously in the donation box at duPont Conservation Hall during your tour. Your support helps us maintain the property, fund student research, and offer educational programs (including these private group tours!) to the community.
The Carolina Ocean Alliance is an environmental nonprofit based in South Carolina, dedicated to acting as a catalyst for community-driven solutions, civic ecology, and the transformative power each of us has to use our unique gifts and passions to be the change we want to see in the world.
