About the event
Welcome back to The Hope Summit Book Club, a quarterly book club meeting in person on the last Tuesday of each month at Wake Refill in Charleston, South Carolina. Join us Tuesday, September 29th, at 6 PM in the Wake Refill Courtyard (37 Cleveland St #101, Charleston, SC 29403) as we kick off The Hope Summit 2026 with one of our inspirations, "Civic Ecology".
As we conclude the third quarter of the 2026 book club, we explore how the systems that shape our world can be changed to promote healthier people, healthier communities, and a healthier planet. "Civic Ecology" teaches us how groups of individuals, communities, can actively restore and regenerate the health and ecological vibrancy of the places they live through inspired local action.
