About the event
Opening immediately after The Hope Summit 2025 Conference concludes, the Friday Featured Screening of “Inhabitants” will double as a keynote presentation on the important stewardship and ecosystem restoration work Indigenous communities are doing to create resilience. An expert panel will follow the screening of “Inhabitants.”
The festival will continue with a matinee block of the Local Voices Shorts Block featuring thematically programmed films from the Southeast, followed by the International Ocean Film Foundation’s 2025 Traveling Program, and selected short films from Patagonia’s collection.
The Saturday Featured Screening and closing film of the festival will be “We Feed People,” a documentary by Ron Howard about the disaster relief efforts of Chef Jose Andres’s World Central Kitchen.
