About the event

Join South Carolina Aquarium, The Citadel Near Center for Climate Studies, Sustainable Ocean Alliance-Charleston, and local community members for an MLK Day of Service litter sweep and food drive at Harmon Field and Hagood Avenue in Charleston. Bring a nonperishable food item to donate, a reusable water bottle for yourself, and wear closed-toe shoes or mud boots.  All supplies and instructions will be provided to conduct a litter sweep with data collection along Hagood Avenue, including Gadsden Creek, and Harmon Field. We’ll meet at Harmon Field near the intersection of Hagood Avenue and Fishburne Street. Street parking is available throughout the area. Learn more and register HERE.
